Fish and Wildlife Associates, Inc., (FWA) established in 1983, is an environmental consulting firm specializing in biological systems and the issues associated with business and development as it pertains to water quality, aquatic communities, threatened and endangered species, and terrestrial resources.  FWA provides a full range of services including assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of environmental studies.  Our firm is a woman‑owned, small business located in Whittier, North Carolina.

FWA provides a variety of environmental consulting services to governmental agencies, school systems, private companies, public utilities, associations, and individual clients.   FWA can conduct studies and prepare documentation with recommendations for managing fisheries, aquatic, and wildlife resources.  FWA personnel are experienced in identifying threatened and endangered species located throughout the Southeast.  FWA can also perform floral and habitat identification studies to determine if wetlands are present.  FWA also has experienced personnel to  FERC mandated studies and complete the documentation necessary for the licensing and relicensing of hydroelectric facilities.  Please see our Services page for a complete list that FWA is able to provide.
